Now that we have entered in the month of October, we all know that weddings are just round the corner. These few upcoming months bring so much to our wardrobe. From colorful clothing to winter wear to party dresses, what not do we love to wear. Bring it on and we are always ready to rock any look and occasion. Rarely it happens that I go completely Indian from top to toe. I have always been more inclined towards donning Indo western look, exceptions are always there though. This post brings to you two of my most favorite and different looks so far that I have been wanting to do since the time I have started blogging. Tis’ the perfect time for it!

First look: Wearing a dark maroon plain silk lehenga, I got designed for my brother’s wedding last year, with a printed crop top. Well I have worn this top in one of the posts previously HERE. Since the print of the top does complete justice to the plain lehenga, I decided to pair them together and the duo completely suffices my Indo western outfit desire. A very stylish and comfortable look it is. The crop top hardly has any weight and the lehenga too is not very heavy since it’s plain silk. Keeping the accessories minimal with only Jhumka earrings and an exclusive bracelet with a ring. Adding a touch of turquoise blue in the earrings and the ring which I feel is a great color contrast with maroon. Love how the curls turned out highlighting all my highlights. Did not play much with the make up except for golden and maroon eyes, keeping the rest neutral. All credits to the make up artist, Mariah Patel, whom I succumbed to and totally loved the outcome. Planning for a friend’s engagement or a similar kinda occasion? Try this avatar and make everyone awestruck.

Second look: Back again in the same lehenga but in a different look altogether. Here I am teaming this lehenga with an all black net shirt, tucked in, from Dorothy Perkins. This time I did play with accessories and make up both to make it a perfect look for a heavier occasion. Wearing a heavy stone necklace from Fab Alley with stone earrings from H&M. Have always fantasized smokey eyes and even tried couple times but perfection is what I always miss out on. Well this time this attire did call for black smokey eyes and how could I not sport that being a muse of this talented MUA. Also wearing the artificial eye lashes for the first time and oh how much I loved it. Not just smokey eyes but also the dark lips is what I wanted for this look, hence wearing my new L’Oreal Blossom Tint Plum Caresse lipstick on my lips that goes well with my lehenga. Last but never the least, since it was a collared shirt, I went for an updo and babes, how beautifully it’s sitting right there with curls making it all the more messy yet beautiful. This look can do complete justice to a friend’s wedding or reception. In fact one can as well grace one’s own engagement or occasion in something like this. What do you say??

MUA: Mariah Patel
What I loved the most about her is that she was really fast and understands the look that the person wants. She knows her thing and it hardly took her anytime to do the make up and hair. I literally had to say this to her “Are we done already?” Haha

Another talent that I recently collaborated with. It was such a quick shoot with him. He really knew his stuff and we wounded up in just half an hour for each shoot. The least clicks I guess I had so far and almost all perfectly taken. It was a tough task to choose the pics though.

Hope y’all loved the looks as much as I loved curating them. Looking forward to you writing about your views on the same. Share with me if you want me to sport some other looks of your choice. I would love to do the same.
Until next time, have a wonderful weekend and..
