Once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life, I choose to go ethnic. Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than an Indian outfit. The sheer elegance that oozes out of the Indian dresses is incomparable. Having said that, being an Indian I can never keep myself away from Indian outfits for long. As much as I love wearing western, I equally enjoy the Indian look too.

Welcoming summers and playing with pastels already. The first dress that I have styled here is a peach colored salwar kamiz with dupatta. Not much of a salawar kamiz person but I simply could not resist the dress because of its pastel color that’s screaming summers. The dress makes for a perfect day occasion wear and keeping the same in mind is the makeup and hair done. It’s always preferable to tie the hair in summers. Makes you look stylish plus prevents you from hair hustle. I went with curling my hair and tying them up in low bun. You can always get a strand or two out in the front for that beautiful elegant look. For the makeup, the moment I wore the dress, I knew I wanted a touch of green shadows on my eyes. The eyes were done to perfection with a mix of black and green shadows. Nude lips and a tinch of highlighter and I am ready to rock the party. Big golden hoops and bindi for a pure desi touch and I am all set to dance on my favorite number.

When it comes to Indian attire, Saree is always my first choice and then comes the kurta. I love styling long kurtas and loving the one I have styled here more. Again the color is soothing to the eyes and the high neck pattern makes it a little extra unique. Since it has a high neck, I wanted to go with high bun to let the neck style be clearly visible. Got the curls done and pulled the hair up high and tied it hard. With high necks always make sure you wear some catchy earrings and when its ethnic, nothing can be better than traditional jhumkas. Loving them tiny jhumkas which are perfectly gelling with the attire and wearing yellow mirror juttis to finish the desi touch.

Rarely do I reveal my desi side. So do let me know in the comments if you liked the styles and which one more? My personal favorite is the first look.

Thanking from all my heart to Neeraj (INSTAGRAM) who helped me with the brilliant photography and I am absolutely loving the pictures. Also highly grateful to Manasi (INSTAGRAM) for doing the makeup and hair just how I wanted. Thanks a tonne guys.
